Syrius Jones has been named best new rock band in Oregon (2002) by Willamette Week, best alternative band (2003) by Eugene Weekly, and “hooky”…”melodic”…and defintely “worth looking for” (2004) by the Sacramento News and Review for good reason.
Syrius Jones has earned extended airplay on Oregon’s new rock station 97.9 KNRQ, radio interviews up and down the west coast, and multiple appearances during half time at Autzen Stadium for over 40,000 Oregon Ducks fans.
Individual Bios
The son of a prominent jazz pianist, Shane Workman’s musical success was never in doubt. With two label supported albums under his belt, Shane continues to push the rock envelope.
Raised in the small town of Clinton, MS, Matt Pruden grew up with some of the most successful musicians of his generation including drummer Keith Carlock. This inspirational hotbed has led to some of the most unique, tasteful, and smooth grooves heard today.
